PERFUME is a genuinely cross-disciplinary network, which includes both academic and industrial partners. It assembles research groups at the forefront of peroxisome research (RUG, AMC, UA, RUB, UiS), bioinformatics (UiS, UHEI, Lifeglimmer), functional genomics (RUG, UA, RUB, Lifeglimmer), transcriptomics and proteomics (UA, UiS), metabolomics (AMC, MDiscoveries), protein structure analysis (EMBL, Evitra, UHEI) and mathematical modelling (UMCG, Lifewizz). The teams composing PERFUME are recognized leaders in their respective research fields, as documented by their seminal contributions to their areas of research.
